our lucky day!!

1. Phone rings this AM, it's my BFF Tara. "Tara, what time is it?" She tells me 7:30am. AHHHHH!!!! My car!! See, to avoid paying for parking in our area, I park on Eglinton during certain hours. That being said, I need to move my car by 7am. "Jer, I'm late! can you move my car?" .. go to the end of this tale, no ticket :)

2. I'm at work, and I find out I passed my HUGE ITSM exam!! Woo hoo!! Only 11th person in my company of 38,000 people who have this!! I rock :)

3. Jer calls, and our moo card/stickers have arrived. He tells me they look great!

4. Jer also tell me his tax return came! BRING ON MORE MONEY!!!

So, this is our lucky day. I bought 2 x 6/49 tickets (with encore of course) and already warned Robin she will be my superhero when I win the lottery and bang my "I quit" drum around the office.

yay!! So glad after a week of crap, things finally are looking up :)

A Hot Pink Petticoat ..

... has a logo!! Got it from a designer I met on Etsy and I'm thrilled with the final product. All I did, was post a message of what I needed and my budget, and people bid to get the sale, and then you choose who does it! Pretty cool I say.
Talked with my future website designer and target is to have something up for end of June. Now I'm working on the content, and recruiting some witty writers to be my guest bloggers on my "to be" blog. Jesh!! What did i get myself involved with??

Also, started working with my Special Olympics Baseball Team. LOVE IT!!! It's sort of like working out (when I do it). I dread going there cause it's after work and all I want to do is get out of my bra and lounge. But once I get there, I'm having the best time. So I was online checking out a few of my favourite wedding sites, when I came across this youtube video of a wedding speech. Now, it's 7+ min long, but well worth the 7 minutes. Let me just say, this is by far the most awesome thing anyone can do for anyone (at their wedding):

green pea soup ...

I sure like green pea soup. But that's not where this is going. Making progress on our invitations. Got some diff. colours of card stock yesterday and been playing around. Ya'll be pleasantly surprised when you see the result.

Making an appt to see a web designer for my new biz ... not sure when that will be. His work can be found Shopgirls. LOVE IT!! To date, 1 Destination Wedding and 2 day of gigs lined up for this year. Luckily my first one will be a family gig, so I can use Jane and Jarrett as my guinea pigs (tee hee).
