My wedding gift from my hubby was a song.
The song: Ode to Alison (note: I've asked him for years to use the album name "Ode to Alison")
The lyrics:
The words, I keep saying mom nothing at all without you
The only thing I ask is to forget the past
Start out new
All of the moments come into me
Try to take it in.
All I can do for you
All I can be for me
All we can do is be
A perfect Harmony
Find myself wondering what has come and gone
and what is true
Same old song known all day
about me and you
I dreamed of this moment to say it all
I need you
I loved my song, and it sounds WICKED live. Once we get the video back from Jawad, I'll post a link.

"let me see that thonoonnnngggg...."
No, this post is not about undies. This post is about songs that make me giggle and dance in the car, in my work chair, wherever. These are songs that I want to hear at the wedding, but I know I won't unless Stiffler's Mom (our band) is this cool. No one is this cool to have these WICKED songs.
Up first, "Thong Song" by Sisqo. This song entirely about booty and underwear reminds me of when I went to the Dominican with Sondra, Fred and Farzad back in ... 2000? Anywho, every disco we went to played this song.
Ah, the thong song
Next up, "Mmm Bop" by Hanson. Oh yes I did. This song takes me back to May 2-4 weekend 1998, when my friend Nick Foley walked into our cabin with a boom box blasting "Mmm Bop" and singing as loud as he could. This started an hour long cabin crawl recruiting everyone he could to walk from cabin to cabin singing "Mmm Bop" over and over. I heart Nick. Hahaha. I emailed Jer and his brothers asking they learn it for the wedding. I don't think this will happen.
And how about Eurpoe's "The Final Countdown" featured in "Arrested Development" whenever GOB performs one of his magic shows. Hahah .. Arrested Development. Great show.
Would this not make for an awesome ending the night song? Hmmm
There are so many good songs out there. Anyone have any recommendations?
