Cool, Green & Shady

Now, the bridesmaids, groomsmen and the family got flowers by Cool Green and Shady. Amber was a dream to work with, and delivered way beyond my expectations. She found pods that looked like buttons!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!! She knew how much I loved my bouquet and created the perfect compliment.

It's true, I'm now married to the love of my life, Rockstar Hubby :)

The day was perfect. Couple of hiccups, including running behind 45 minutes (leaving me to stress just a wee bit), but all in all, it was a success! I wanted to post a couple of teaser pics of our day.

I can't believe I'm married!

It's like Christmas at our place!!

We got other treats as well, but I can't post them as they will ruin the surprise :)

Check out this packaging. Pom poms!! And if you look closely Princess Lasertron attached a button which reads "I heart me"!! That will so be in the wedding somehow!!



Jer was the one to point out the one-of-a kind drawing on the box itself. Princess Lasertron draws just like me!



What made this the most fun, was reading the great card Megan (P-L) included in the package. Such a cool, cool lady!

Princess Lasertron

You all know how much I heart Princess Lasertron. Well, after she made a cupcake hoodie for my coworker's fiance ....





I decided I needed a hoodie for getting ready on Nov 14th. OK, did I need this? No, but I sure did want one!!

Here it is!!



Cassette tapes, vinyl, music notes!!! Andrew at work said to me that it'll be great when I have kids, and they point to the cassette tape and say "what's that?".



Lightening bolt, guitars with hearts on them!! This is THE craziest hoodie I'll ever own. And it was made just for me :) Robin will hate it. She will HATE it!! But I don't care .. so there!!

10lb of felt for $10!!

I love Princess Lasertron. If you follow my blog, I dedicated an entire post telling you why I love princess lasertron.

Well, she's done it again. Princess Lasertron created a "how to make my wicked ass flowers" video and posted it on her website. So, while out doing some craft buying with Robin yesterday (for the wedding), she point to a bag full of felt. 10lbs for $10!!! So, I grabbed a bag of felt, buttons, floral wire and I was off to make my own "Princess Lasertron felt flower" hair clips. Robin is VERY afraid.

Here is the final result of my first (OK second) attempt at these crafts.



Bonham was quite interested (I think somewhat impressed as well).



So I took the hint and decided to let him wear it.



And I couldn't let Bonham have all the fun. So here's his older bro Pickles sporting the flower clip.



Thanks Princess Lasertron for sharing your secrets. Best part about these flowers is not only are they fairly simple (for us craft challenged folks) but they can be whipped up in under 30 min. Perfect for someone who lacks patience :)

So, after stalking Megan from afar, I tracked her down .... yep, Etsy

And after stalking her another day or so, I decided to make contact. It was decided. Megan was making my wedding bouquet, Jer's boutonniere as well as Kalen's.

So less then 4 weeks since I made contact, our spectacular goods delivered on the doorstep. And what made this shipment so great, was the packaging.
