That was the only way to get Kalen, my nephew, to stay somewhat focused during family picture night.
For my mom's 60th birthday, the family got together for some well overdue pictures. These were shot by our friend (and wedding photographer) ,Greg Tjepkema.
Here are some pictures from that night (NOTE: these were not touched up)

Crinoline or no crinoline .. that is the question
I bought a HOT coloured crinoline off of a frugal bride.
It's stunning. I have no yet tried it on with my dress to see what it looks like, but I hope it works out. Also don't want to tell you the colour and ruin any possible surprises.
I started looking online for other brides who wore fun coloured crinoline under their dress. Here's some neat pictures i came across:
This dress is just overall stunning!
"Something Blue"
love Love LOVE ... did I say Love?
Not crinoline, but look at this dress! Wowzers!! Totally want this dress. TARA!!! Pick purple when you decide to marry k?
I'd love to show you my dress and get your opinion, but I can't :)
Guess you'll have to wait and see come November!!

10 degress Celcius
That's the average high on Nov 14 for the past 3 years according to Toronto's Weather History
According to this site:
Nov 14 2005 = high of 8
Nov 14 2006 = high of 7
Nov 14 2007 = high of 15
All 3 dates were SNOW and RAIN free!!!
So really, if I look at history, I should be looking a a clear, autum night.
However, remember the weather we've had this year?
Dec 20 2008 - Wedding of Amanda and Jason (no, I don't know them)
Mar 8 2008 - Winter wedding shot by Wild Orchard Creations
June 16 2008 - Outside my friend's place in Markham. He mentioned he got whacked by hail and it left a welt. Wicked ...
July 8 2008 - King St at Sudbury. NOTE: I was stranded on the Tarmac in Boston cause of "a storm". At least it was worth it!!
So you know what this means right? I need to start my contingency plan to ensure I get the proper outer wear for anything and everything Mother Nature throws at me.
Bring on ETSY!!!
